Refund & Cancellation Policy

Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase. By completing a payment, you acknowledge and agree to the terms stated below.

All purchases are final and non-refundable.

Due to the immediate digital delivery of AI credits and services, we are unable to offer refunds once a purchase is completed. We strongly encourage you to try our Free Plan before upgrading.

1. Nature of the Service

Career Lift offers digital AI services — specifically, the consumption of AI generation credits to produce resume content. Once a Pro Plan is purchased:

  • Credits are immediately credited to your account.
  • You gain instant access to Pro AI models and premium templates.
  • The digital service has been fully delivered at the point of purchase.

Because the service is delivered digitally and instantly, it falls outside the scope of standard return policies applicable to physical goods.

2. No Refund Policy

We do not provide refunds under any of the following circumstances:

  • Unused credits — if you purchased a Pro Plan but did not use all (or any) of your generation credits before the plan expired.
  • Partial usage — if you used some credits and wish to refund the remaining unused portion.
  • Dissatisfaction with AI output — AI-generated content is probabilistic by nature. Variation in quality or style between generations does not constitute grounds for a refund.
  • Change of mind — deciding you no longer need the service after purchase.
  • Accidental purchase — please review your order carefully before confirming payment.
  • Technical issues on the user's side — such as internet connectivity problems during generation.

3. Exceptional Circumstances

We will consider refund requests only in the following limited cases:

  • Duplicate payment — you were charged twice for the same order due to a payment gateway error. Verified duplicate charges will be refunded in full.
  • Service unavailability — the Service was entirely inaccessible for an extended period (more than 72 continuous hours) due to an issue on our end, preventing you from using any credits you purchased.

To submit such a request, email support@example.com within 7 days of the original transaction with your order details and a description of the issue. Requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are at our sole discretion.

4. Cancellation Policy

Career Lift uses a one-time payment model — there are no recurring subscriptions or automatic renewals.

  • You will never be billed automatically. Each Pro Plan purchase is a single, voluntary transaction.
  • When your current Pro Plan expires, your account reverts to the Free Plan automatically — no action required on your part.
  • You are free to simply not repurchase if you no longer wish to use the Pro Plan.

There is nothing to “cancel” in the traditional sense. You are in full control of whether and when you make a future purchase.

5. Try Before You Buy

We strongly recommend using our Free Plan before purchasing Pro. The Free Plan allows you to:

  • Generate resumes using our standard AI model at no cost.
  • Preview all free templates.
  • Evaluate the quality and suitability of the output for your needs.

Upgrading to Pro is a deliberate, informed decision — and we encourage you to make it only when you are confident the service meets your expectations.
