By creating an account or using Career Lift (“Service”, “we”, “us”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

Career Lift is an AI-powered software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that helps users generate tailored, ATS-optimised resumes based on a job description and their profile information.

The Service is offered under two plans:

• Free Plan — access to basic AI resume generation and free templates at no cost.
• Pro Plan — access to advanced AI models (Claude / GPT-class), premium templates, and additional generation credits, available via a one-time purchase.

The Pro Plan grants a fixed number of AI generation credits valid for the stated duration (typically 30 days) from the date of purchase. Credits are consumed each time you use the Pro AI model to generate a resume.

• Credits are non-transferable and cannot be rolled over to a new plan period.
• Automated, scripted, or bulk usage that abuses the credit allocation may result in account suspension without notice or refund.
• Accessing Pro templates or Pro AI requires an active, non-expired Pro Plan at the time of generation.

You must provide accurate and current information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@example.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

You agree that you will not:

• Upload or input content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract data from the Service.
• Use the Service to generate content intended to deceive employers or third parties.
• Share your account credentials or allow others to use your Pro credits.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the profile information and job descriptions you submit. Career Lift does not verify the truthfulness of generated resume content.

The platform, its design, and underlying code are the property of Career Lift. You retain ownership of the resume content you generate, subject to the limitations of the third-party AI providers used to produce it.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your inputs solely for the purpose of generating your resume.

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, including changes to plan pricing, features, or AI models.

Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

Career Lift provides AI-assisted content generation tools. We do not guarantee any specific employment outcome, interview, or job offer resulting from the use of generated resumes.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Career Lift shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
